Musical theaters have always been the soul of Orlando’s nightlife. With a high number of talented artists and performers that flood the city, it is no surprise that November will host some of the best theater experiences in the city.

The talented musical theater students are ready to pour their heart and soul into performing for the people of Orlando. This holiday musical is based on the Cinema hit movie that was released in 2003. Loved by children and parents around the world, this is your chance to experience this masterpiece in a new light.

It’s time you get to experience Buddy, a young orphan elf, as he takes on a challenging stride towards the busy streets of New York in search of his father. While on this adventure, he uncovers some of the deepest truths about his identity.

Watch as Buddy realizes some of the harshest realities about his father and picks himself up against all odds, intending to enrich the holiday spirits inside the hearts of busy New Yorkers.

After experiencing the show, you will begin to embrace the holiday season even more than before. It is sure to be a wonderful treat for children and an entertaining affair for adults.


Dr Philips Center for the Performing arts will host the show, starting from November 12 to November 14 in 2021. The ticket price starts at $29.75, and timings can vary. The organization will keep the audience and ticket holders updated on the time and changes. Since Covid-19 is still a concern, the show can be subject to changes.

Covid Requirements

To enter the facility, you must provide valid documentation that proves your negative Covid status. This documentation includes:

  • A PCR test 72 hours before the show starts (if not vaccinated)
  • If you have antigen tests, they must be conducted within 48 hours of the show’s starting time (if not vaccinated)
  • Photo ID with the tests
  • A vaccination card

Other than that, you are required to wear a mask at all times once you are inside the theater. The only time guests can lower their masks is when they are eating and drinking.

Make sure that you stay at home if you feel any symptoms of Covid 19. There will also be sanitation stations all across the facility, and the guests are welcome and encouraged to use them.


The Dr Philips center is located in the heart of downtown Orlando. The Bob Carr Theater is just one mile away from this amazing theater. The beautiful building is really hard to miss, and you can easily access it from Florida’s east and west coasts.

Not only that, it is only a few minutes away from Walt Disney World.  If you are ever cruising around the sunny city of Orlando, you can easily drop by for a load of adventure.

Snacks and Drinks

Once you are at the Dr Phillips Center, you have the option of picking between a wide range of snacks and drinks. All the foods and beverages at this location are top of the line. If you decide to go to tier 2, you have the option to visit Crafts, which is where you can enjoy tasteful beer, wine and coffee.


The parking is highly accessible. Visitors can park their vehicles at City Commons Parking Garage. The parking rate is $12 for the weekend and weeknight shows. Once you have parked the car, you can cross the covered sky bridge.

This bridge is located on the garage’s third floor. Not to mention, the facility also provides visitors with amazing valet service. Another parking option would be the seaside plaza parking garage. Overall, the venue is extremely accessible whether you come by car, bus, or other modes of transport.
